Year after year, our hospitality team takes pride in serving our clients’ needs. Beyond serving up fantastic meals our customers rave about, they anticipate their requirements. The hospitality team make beds, keep the facilities sanitized, coordinates float planes of clients coming and going, serves plated dinners, cleans-up afterwards, keeps camp tidy, burns trash, sorts recycling, cuts the lawn, fills water containers, and so very much more. For all things to operate smoothly we employ a hard-working grounds team. Our purpose is to get you out fishing and relaxing while we make your vacation as comfortable as possible.

Chef Chris Lee is the foundation of our land crew as lodge manager, Executive Chef, and team leader. Chef Chris is an amazing talent in the kitchen and a highly-valued member of the NRAL family. Chef Chris works his heart out while leading his team that puts forth their best effort for great results. Nearly every client review contains comments in favor of our delicious dining. Since departing the lodge last season, Chef Chris managed a pheasant hunting lodge in South Dakota, spent time with his family, and worked on his organic farm.

For 2024 we are pleased to bring back two of our hospitality rockstars Meagan Holt and Quinton Scott. And we are pleased to bring on our guide Dante’s younger brother Romeo Bryce as the third member of Chef’s ground team this summer. We are all looking forward to a great summer on the Nushagak.
