Dante was born and raised in Safford, Arizona. He is a former collegiate and semiprofessional soccer player. Dante attended college in South Dakota, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management. Previously, Dante worked for several fish and game agencies as a fisheries biologist focusing on king salmon. He loves working in the best office in the world as a captain and guide at Fish The Nush. When not working on the Nushagak, Dante is a professional hunting guide chasing bull and cow elk in the mountains of New Mexico and Utah throughout the fall and winter. Dante is also an avid backcountry backpacker around the lower 48.
