Tim grew up in Wisconsin fishing on Lake Michigan for salmon and trout. In 1985, while attending school in Arizona, he visited Alaska and fell in love. Vowing one day to return and share his passion for the untamed wilds. Having guided in Alaska for more than 10 years, he found a home at FTN and this will be his fifth season at the lodge.
Tim resides in Ventura, California, where for the last 30 years he enjoys surf fishing, traveling, watercolor painting and chasing trophy cutthroat trout on Pyramid Lake in Nevada.
Tim is active with Trout Unlimited Alaska as an Ambassador. While in this capacity, he lends his voice to important issues in order to preserve our valuable resources.
