Alaska fishing guidesJoaquin Capelle was born and raised in Patagonia, Argentina where he grew up fishing for rainbow and brown trout. His passion for the outdoors turned into a profession at an early age when he began guiding fly fishing and hunting trips in Patagonia. Later on Joaquin combined both his passions when he created a hunting and fishing consulting agency.

During his 30-year guiding career, Joaquin has chased many species across the Americas, such as the golden dorado in Argentina; snook, tarpon and permit in the flats of Florida; and salmon in Alaska. He has spent the last two summers guiding for kings and reds on the Nushagak River.

In the fall you can find Joaquin in the mountains of New Mexico and Utah guiding for elk, mule deer and pronghorn antelope, or chasing trophy whitetails and Mule deer where he resides in Northwest Kansas with his archery tackle.

After the fishing and hunting season end in the United States, Joaquin travels to Patagonia to guide for trout on the fly and doubles as a hunting guide to go after free range red stag.

Some of Joaquin’s other passions are trekking/camping with family and friends, skiing or flying his motored powered parachute.

Brent Seamans has been a fishing guide in Alaska for 23 summers. He spent 21 of those guiding on the Nushagak and other rivers of Bristol Bay and three guiding in Alaska’s Matanuska-Susitna Valley. During the school year, Brent teaches Science in Prairie du Chien, WI, and has coached their National Archery in the Schools Program, Wisconsin State High School Clay Target League, Basketball, and Track Field.

Some of Brent’s other outdoor passions include fishing walleye and panfish on the Mississippi River, chasing whitetails on his family farm in Wisconsin, bird hunting with his beloved Labrador retrievers, and exploring the backwaters of the Mississippi River with family and friends.

Kim Kottke has guided on a variety of rivers and lakes across the country during his 40 year guiding career. Most recently, he guided anglers on the Nushagak and Kvichak Rivers in Alaska and has had the wonderful opportunity to guide in Ontario, Canada and on the Mississippi River in his home state of Wisconsin.  During his off season, Kim is the captain of a ferry boat which takes passengers and vehicles across the Mississippi River between Iowa and Wisconsin. Kim enjoys spending his free time fishing the Great lakes for salmon, fishing walleye and panfish on the Mississippi River, and chasing whitetail deer and turkey in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Missouri. Kim has a true love of the outdoors and he enjoys sharing that experience with his clients.
